Course Description
The oval course is 1 mile 2 furlongs in distance and has a straight diagonal through the centre of the oval. There are eight fences on the oval, two of which are water jumps and there is one open ditch. On the diagonal there are four fences, one of these is an open ditch.
Facilities
The Premier Enclosure: The Platinum Suite restaurant offers a 3 course a la carte menu. Bookings for this restaurant to be made in advance. The Premier Bar is fully licenced an is also in this enclosure.
The Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure: There are a variety of bars and catering outlets selling food and snacks.
The Centre Course Family Enclosure: This enclosure is ideal for the family, as there is plenty of picnic space. There is also a bar and fast food outlets.
Directions
By Road: The course is on the A50 between Burton on Trent and Stoke on Trent. The most direct motorway junctions are M6 Junction 16 and M1 Junction 24.
By Rail: Uttoxeter station is adjacent to the course – you can walk off the platform straight onto the Racecourse itself.
