Course Description
The undulating 1 mile 2 furlongs course is run left handed. It is oval in shape and has tight bends. There are seven easy fences per lap. The final fence is an open ditch and then its a steep uphill run to the finish.

Facilities
Grandstand Enclosure

This is the main enclosure, giving full access to the Pre-parade Ring, Winners Enclosure, Betting Ring and Pavilion Restaurant. Booking is advised. It has excellent views of the course and a Table d’Hote menu to suit all palates. Various bars are situated in this area offering a variety of hot and cold snacks, most offering a glass fronted view of the course.

Course Enclosure

This enclosure is situated within the centre of the racectrack incorporating a bar offering hot and cold snacks and beverages. There is also a Betting Area and Tote position.

Directions
By Car: Sedgefield is five minutes from Junction 60 off the A1(M), and is clearly signposted from there. The course lies just outside the village of Sedgefield, and is only twenty minutes from Teeside and Darlington.

By Rail: The nearest main line stations to Sedgefield are Darlington and Durham, both are approximately twenty minutes journey by taxi.
