Course Description
The oval course is 1 mile 6 furlongs in distance. Run left handed the course is flat with no undulations. There is an extension to the finishing straight, making a complete straight mile. The bends are quite sharp.
Facilities
The Grandstand Enclosure will give you full access to an extensive range of public bars, restaurants and viewing areas. This includes the former Premier Enclosure, Premier Bar and Zetland Terrace Bar.
The Course Enclosure has extensive space and picnic areas offering great value for all the family. Situated in the centre of the track with its own cafe and bar. The Course Enclosure also provides entertainment on selected days. Picnics are very welcome within this enclosure.
Directions
By Car: The racecourse is readily accessible by road with links via the A1, A66 and A1085.
By Rail: Redcar Central Railway Station is only a few minutes walk from the Racecourse and is served by a regular service linking the main East Coast Line.
