Course Description
The oval shaped course is run right handed and is 1 mile 3 furlongs in length. The ground is undulating with tight bends. There is an extension at the beginning of the home straight which is used for the sprint races and also some of the longer races. The chase course has 7 easy fences and a run-in of 1 furlong.
Facilities
There is an extensive range of bars and cafes in all enclosures. The Paddock Cafe offers meals and snacks. If you purchase a Day Member badge you can gain admittance to the Look-Out Restaurant. This restaurant has a fine four course menu at a reasonable price. With wonderful views of the racecourse.
Directions
By Car: The course is at Westenhanger, approximately five miles west of Folkestone. From the M20 junction 11 the course is approximately one mile.
By Rail: Westenhanger Station adjoins the course and is five minutes walk from the station.
