Course Description
The oval shaped course is approximately 2 miles in distance and run right handed. There are 11 quite difficult fences per lap of the course. Two of these are open ditches and there is one water jump.
Facilities
The Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure: In this enclosure you have access to the grandstand, parade ring and winners enclosure. There are a number of bars and catering outlets selling food and snacks. However, if its a sit down meal you require, then The Desert Orchid Restaurant offers a fabulous four course meal with views of the finishing straight and winning post. This restaurant is very popular so advanced booking is advised.
Directions
By Road: The course is situated at the top of Haldon Hill, alongside the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Road. From the end of the M5 the course is 5 miles south west.
By Rail: The nearest station is Exeter St Davids. A free bus runs from the station to the course and back every raceday.
